M. Eugenia Demeglio is an Italian maker and educator, currently based in Athens, Greece. She has obtained her BA in Choreography from Codarts, Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (NL) in 2008 and her MA in Curatorial Practice from Falmouth University (UK) in 2011.

Her works, collaborations and commissions were presented in several European institutions and theatres, among others, Utrecht Academiegebouw, Korzo Theater, Theater Lantaren Venster, Nederlandse Architectuur Instituut, Fondazione Pistoletto, BJCEM, Benaki Museum, University of Sussex, Kalamata Dance Festival and Athens and Epidaurus Festival. She was awarded prestigious international prizes as a solo dancer in Perugia and Spoleto, and her collaboration How Much is Enough? won two ResArtis Awards.

Exploring the spatial and conceptual borders of different media, her practice includes movement and improvisation performances, installations, participatory events, videos and community projects, often with a very light and humorous taste. Her research is the arrangement of frameworks fostering individuality within collaboration.

Next to her practice, M. Eugenia Demeglio teaches movement technique and improvisation. She is one of the 32 certified Countertechnique® teachers in the world. Moreover, since 2005 she has devised programs of Body Awareness for actors and Improvisation and Composition for adult absolute beginners.
